Does Virgil Abloh sleep? Apparently not, as he continues to take the sneaker world by storm. Despite his recent appointment as artistic director at LV, Abloh is regularly releasing new sneakers, most recently focusing on "The Ten" series with Nike.
After the Converse x Virgil Abloh Chuck 70 assets had their full release on Saturday, the focus has now turned to the new Off-White x Nike Blazer Studio Mid colorways.
Originally, the "The Ten" was supposed to be 10 shoes. However, the success of the collection has prompted numerous updates and colorway expansions.
The Off-White x Nike Blazer Studio Mid will come in three new colorways: "Black/Cone", "Wolf Grey/ Pure Platinum/ Black/ Cool Grey" and "Canvas/Pale Vanilla/ Black/ Total Orange".
The "Yellow Canvas" screams summer, so it's easy to see why the release date is July. A faded yellow upper, accented by Vanilla-toned eyelets and soles, works well with the Blazer Silhouette. The large swoosh comes in black with the signature orange tab on the heel. The description of the colorway itself makes you think of a white chocolate Magnum or a mango Solero. (Yes, I am ready for summer).
Each of the three models has Virgil's signature Off-White text on the medial side. The oversized swoosh on the side also extends into the midsole and heel areas.
Priced at $130, the "Yellow Canvas" will be released in July, whereas we will have to wait until September for the "Black" and "Wolf Grey" colorways.
In other Sneaker News, the Air Jordan 4's "Fire Red" and "Bred" Colorways are set for a return in 2019.
